Market Update

Wanted to give you a quick update to let you know we are beginning to fill out the market with summer produce.  We now have a good supply daily of blueberries, green beans, onions, red potatoes, zucchini and yellow summer squash.  We are just beginning to bring in bell peppers and sweet banana peppers.  We are picking corn pretty much every day, but every now and then we run into a gap where the next planting is not quite ready, so you may want to call ahead to make sure we have corn.   Tomatoes are continuing to be very stubborn in ripening this year, seems to me we gave them plenty of hot weather this past week!     We still have not picked one yet from our field, so to keep tomatoes available to you, we are bringing them in from another grower in Indiana out of their greenhouse Windows 95 iso download.

Freezing and Canning quantities:  Many of you are asking about getting larger quantities for freezing or canning on things like blueberries, beans, corn, tomatoes, etc.  We are happy to take your name and phone number and call you when we can pick those for you.   269-244-5690 twitter images in bulk.

So, since we don’t have a lot to report this week, I thought I would invite you to view a short video that has been posted on our website that you may not be aware of.    The BPA group from Sturgis High school made a wonderful video this year called  “America’s Heartland.”    They tried to select a range of different types of farming and farmers to be featured in the video and asked myself and my son Jay to participate.  We were honored to participate and want to thank and congratulate the Sturgis High BPA group on their award winning video.  They won 2nd place at the National competition!   Take a few minutes and click the link below to see it latest openssh version.

Happy 4th of July weekend!

Here’s wishing everyone a great holiday weekend!   I wanted to let you know what we will have at the market this weekend and also to answer some of the most frequently asked questions, such as:

When will you have sweet corn tweezers elegantly?  We hope we will be able to start picking some this weekend, probably Saturday.

Why don’t you have any tomatoes 트위치 대시보드 다운로드?  Remember those really hot weeks we had in May and June?  It caused all of our greenhouse tomatoes to ripen at the same time.  Many of you commented that you could not believe how our counters were overflowing with tomatoes.  We try hard each year to time this just right so that our greenhouse tomatoes carry us to our field tomatoes, but due to the hot weather we had early, we missed it.  Knowing that many of you want a tomato to slice on a hamburger or BLT this weekend, we purchased tomatoes today from another grower that we know in Indiana who had extra greenhouse tomatoes.  We normally do not do this and prefer not to, as we like to hold true to “growing what we sell,” but we have made an exception and so…..this weekend, we actually do have tomatoes, they are just not grown on our farm rufus 2.9.

How come we have missed strawberries and cherries?  It is hard to believe these are gone for the year, but again, due to those extremely hot weeks we had earlier this year, everything is running 10 days to 2 weeks early.  So, keep this in mind as the year progresses.

So, what else do you have in the market this weekend 도로명 다운로드?  We have yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, fresh onions, new red potatoes, green beans, snow peas, sugar peas, cabbage, and cauliflower.  And…..blueberries!  How much of everything we pick each day varies, so you are always welcome to call the market before you drive over to make sure we have what you are looking for or to ask us to save it for you.  269-244-5690 Nintendo Switch rom download.

Sour Cherries are ending, Blueberries are starting

If you want to pick sour cherries you really need to come in the next few days.  While there are still plenty left to pick, due to all of the rain, they are not going to keep much longer.  We are no longer picking them for the market, so it us just U-Pick now.  I suspect by about the end of Wednesday, there will be very few left seoul subway line list.

Blueberries are starting and are available for $5.00 per quart, or $3.00 per pint.   Since they are just starting, we are not picking too many each day and tend to sell out by the end of the day, so feel free to call us and we can reserve some for you.  269-244-5690 Download Disneyland.

A Quiet Time at our Market

Well, we are experiencing a quiet and sort of empty market right now while we are waiting for most of the summer crops to arrive.   We still have plenty of sour cherries for you to pick and they are really nice right now.    There are only a few sweet cherries left to pick, high up in the trees, and we no longer are picking any for the market 다크 나이트 2008 다운로드.

We did pick our first blue berries of the season today and with all of the rain we have had, they are really large and plump this year.  Since they are just starting,  we are only picking a few each day and they sell out quickly.  Carol was one of our lucky customers who got some today, she was so excited that our blue berries were ready that everyone on the market got a hug when she saw the blueberries and tasted them.  She made sure that my Dad, who grew the berries ,got a hug too.  But Carol, you still owe the picker a hug as he was still out picking when you came!  It is amazing for all of us to experience the “firsts” of the season as they come in and it reminds our taste buds of those flavors we have missed for a whole year Hello Hazel trailer download.

So, I will update you in the near future when more of our summer crops start to come in like Green Beans, Summer Squash, Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Egg plant, etc.    Since we are not sure what we will bring in each day, feel free to call the market and see what we have available before you drive over.  269-244-5690 원피스 73권 다운로드.

Strawberries are now gone for the season, we thank all of our customers who got them here this year as given our early hail damage, it was a tough year for strawberries my little forge.

U-Pick Cherries:  We still have  Sweet and Sour Cherries left for you to pick.   The sweet cherries remaining are in the tops of the trees so you will definitely need a ladder.  The best sour cherry picking is in the tops of the trees as well, but there are lots of those left.  See our website for picking details and pricing.  www.coreylakeorchards.com.  As conditions can change due to weather or the number of customers we have, feel free to call the market for the latest picking information.  269-244-5690 카톡프사 다운로드.

Three Rivers Water Festival:  We were very honored that Centrury 21 Arrowhead in Three Rivers asked if they could create their float this year as a replica of Corey Lake Orchards.  This year’s Water Festival theme was “Down on the Farm.”  While the weather forced the parade to be cancelled and the float did not get to be displayed for everyone to enjoy, we sincerely appreciated the honor bestowed upon us and all of their hard work to create the float.  They will be bringing it out to the orchard and it will be on display for a few weeks.  Thank you to all of the hard-working people at Century 21!

Sesason reminder:  Due to the early spring heat, everything is running about 10 days to 2 weeks early this year.   It’s almost unheard of for strawberries to be over and  to be in the middle of cherry season during the middle of June Sketch-up 2016 32 crack download!

Hope to see you during cherry season.
